I probably think Civ 6 has the best overall game presentation in the series. I rate Civ 2, 4, 5, and 6 all very highly though. I don't think you can go wrong with purchasing 5 or 6. .
In some ways though, 6 is the best so far; it has by far the deepest, richest gameplay and most well-developed mechanics.
